Howie is one of the most talented wedding entertainers I've ever worked with. Whether he's performing live, DJing or keeping a dancefloor full from the first song to the last, he brings an incredible level of energy, confidence and professionalism.
What really sets Howie apart is his ability to read a room. He knows exactly when to lift the energy, when to slow things down and how to keep guests engaged throughout the day. He's also an exceptional multi-instrumentalist, one of the best wedding musicians I've ever heard, and someone who genuinely helps everyone around him have a better day. If you're lucky enough to have Howie at your wedding, don't be surprised if he ends up dancing harder than some of your guests.

Ashleigh is one of the most creative people I've ever met. Whether it's signage, stationery, live illustration or completely custom ideas, she consistently finds ways to bring a couple's vision to life. I've seen her transform champagne bottles into keepsakes, create place cards from hand-prepared oyster shells and produce guest illustrations that become treasured wedding favours. Nothing feels mass-produced or generic. What I love most is that she works incredibly well with other vendors to create a seamless and cohesive wedding experience.

A great hair and makeup artist does much more than help someone look beautiful. They're often one of the first vendors to arrive on the wedding day and play a huge role in setting the tone for the morning. Taylor is one of those vendors who simply makes wedding mornings better. She's kind, reliable and always has a smile on her face, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone around her. What I appreciate most is how much she genuinely cares about making people feel confident and beautiful. She's also the type of vendor who naturally supports those around her, making the entire morning feel easier for couples, bridal parties and fellow vendors alike.
HANNAH SENAM
Hannah's passion for what she does is obvious from the moment she arrives. She's incredibly professional while remaining warm, approachable and adaptable throughout the day.
I'm always excited when I see Hannah's name on a run sheet because I know the morning is going to run smoothly and the bride is in great hands. Her enthusiasm for weddings and commitment to her couples shines through in everything she does.
ALICIA'S PERSONAL HAIR DESIGN
Alicia has built an incredible reputation for creating timeless, beautiful hairstyles that consistently photograph beautifully throughout the day. When I first started photographing weddings, I kept finding myself drawn to the same floral installations. Time and time again, they turned out to be Lauren Alyce Floral Design.
Even now, more than a decade later, I still remember some of those incredible designs. I've had the privilege of watching Toni's journey from both sides of the camera after photographing her own wedding a few years ago. What impresses me most is her commitment to constantly improving. She's always looking for new ways to elevate the experience she provides, refine her craft and stay ahead of industry trends. Her communication is excellent, she understands her role within a wedding team and she works respectfully alongside photographers, videographers and other vendors. Choosing a venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the wedding planning process. A beautiful venue certainly matters, but after photographing more than 400 weddings, I've learnt that the people behind the venue, the way the day flows and the overall experience often matter even more. If I had to choose one venue that consistently delivers incredible wedding experiences, it would be The Olive Grove. What sets this venue apart isn't just the beautiful scenery or the stunning photo opportunities, it's the people. From the owners through to the staff working behind the scenes, every member of the team genuinely cares about creating a great experience for couples and their guests. The communication is exceptional, the attention to detail is second to none and the entire property has been designed with weddings in mind. Accommodation, ceremony spaces, reception areas and photo locations are all within a short walk of each other, making the day flow effortlessly without unnecessary travel or delays. If you're looking for a venue that combines value, convenience, beautiful scenery and an exceptional team, The Olive Grove is one of the easiest recommendations I can make.
THE ACRES @ DORA CREEK
The Acres is one of the most exciting new wedding venues in the region and it's easy to see why it has quickly become so popular.
Set on a beautiful working farm, the property features Highland cattle, horses, sheep, goats and other animals that add genuine character and charm to the experience. The landscape feels peaceful and expansive while still being conveniently located between the Central Coast and Hunter Valley.
The venue itself strikes a beautiful balance between rustic and modern. The newly built barn offers a more elevated and contemporary feel than many traditional farm venues, with large glass walls that flood the space with natural light and showcase the surrounding property. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility available to couples. With accommodation on site and the venue owner also offering catering and styling services, it's possible to create a seamless wedding experience through one highly experienced team.
YARRAMALONG VALLEY FARM STAY
Some venues lose their magic after you've photographed them dozens of times. Yarramalong Valley Farm Stay isn't one of them.
Despite being one of the venues I've photographed most often throughout my career, I still genuinely enjoy every wedding I shoot there. The property offers incredible variety for photographs, from wide open paddocks and farm landscapes through to intimate pockets of greenery and the iconic rustic barn. The large homestead on site also provides a fantastic space for wedding preparations and accommodation.
What I love most, however, is the atmosphere. The venue feels private, peaceful and relaxed, allowing couples and guests to truly switch off and enjoy the experience. Combined with a passionate family-run team and an incredibly dedicated on-site coordinator, it's easy to understand why so many couples fall in love with this venue.
CATERING
Ask any wedding guest what they remember most from a wedding and food will almost always be near the top of the list. Great catering does more than feed people. It brings guests together, creates memorable experiences and becomes part of the atmosphere of the entire celebration. These are some of the catering teams I consistently enjoy seeing on a wedding day.
CENTRAL COAST EVENTS
I've known Central Coast Events for a long time, in fact, I got my own start in the wedding industry carrying canapés and DJing at events for them. With more than 15 years of experience, they've built a reputation for being one of the most versatile and reliable catering businesses in the region. Whether it's food trucks, formal dining, grazing tables or custom menu requests, there's very little they can't create. What I admire most is their consistency. The Wilderness Chef is one of those businesses.
Every time I see their name attached to a wedding, I know guests are going to be talking about the food long after the day is over. Their menus feel thoughtful, memorable and genuinely exciting. While I haven't had the opportunity to get to know the team personally as well as some others on this list, what they consistently deliver on the plate is impossible to ignore.

Led by a passionate chef and supported by a caring team, they consistently deliver food that feels thoughtful, beautifully presented and full of flavour.
